Oh the horror!!!

Some time since the last post, mainly due to the fact that it’s hard to get some kind of internet connection going in NY. Thursday was spent at Brookhaven National Laboratory on Long Island, which is doing some very fancy stuff. They have the largest particle accelerator today and the 5th “biggest” supercomputer in the world (New York Blue by IBM). This visit was extremely nice as they were completely open about the research they do there. One other thing that I did that day was to drive a car through the inner workings of Manhattan…

Friday was spent walking around NY visiting the UN building, Grand Central station and Rockefeller center. One stop by the Nintendo World Store on 48th streen was not to shabby either. A lot of statues, t-shirts and sweat shirts that I wanted to buy. In all a nice stay. Saturday was a designated a traveling day and as such it was quite eventful. There was a storm coming in and our flight was delayed about 1 hour, and arrived in Orlando at 2 in the morning. Or to be more precise, 3 in the morning. Yes that’s right! We are now on summer time here in the states! After driving back and forth between the hotel and airport for about 2 hours, due to the fact that we had to much luggage we finally go to sleep at about 6 in the morning.

So today has been totally awful here 🙂 It’s only 25 centrigrade and clear and sunny! We are just back from the hotel pool(and by pool I mean pool + one jacuzzi), and the forecast for the rest of the week is the same weather. Now here finally here is a picture of our lovely hotel here in Orlando. 😛
