The long and somewhat missed brain has been found and is currently working rather ok. The first “real” work week has gone without a hitch, although I’m going to have to spend some time at work on sunday to catch up some small things that have been left behind. The week primarily was a fight go get the work/eat/sleep clock under control, so that I don’t continue these strange(and unusual for me) times to be awake until 2-3 in the morning.
Most of today has been spent on the computer debugging 5 rows of code. I couldn’t find any error with my code and rewrote it about 5000 times… Not to pleasant thing to do, especially for my back witch gave out about 2 hours ago. OpenLDAP has a restriction that one can only get 500 entries per search, and that’s a big problem for the CORTEX software that currently “only” deals with 700 users. So now it’s time to figure out how to get past this limitation so that I don’t have to rethink the whole layout. The good thing in all this is that I have found what was making the software go bananas, bad thing is that it includes more specific functions. And I’m quite sick of writing libraries….
